| Project Description | This massive infrastructure project, funded by DHR-ICMR, aims to establish and strengthen a tiered network of Viral Research and Diagnostics Laboratories (VRDLs) across India. The goal is to create a permanent domestic capacity for identifying and responding to viral outbreaks, pandemics, and natural calamities. The work focuses on high-throughput molecular diagnosis, viral surveillance, and clinical research, ensuring that even remote districts have access to advanced diagnostic microbiology during public health emergencies. |

- Laboratory Technician: 01 Post – B.Sc. / Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology OR High School with 5 years Lab. Experience.
- Multi-tasking Staff: 01 Post – High School/Matric/equivalent from a recognized board.

- Laboratory Technician: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA per month (increment as admissible as per DST norms).
- Multi-tasking Staff: Rs. 18,000/- per month

| Selection Process | For Research Assistant, selection will be based on interview only. A written test may be conducted for shortlisting if the number of eligible candidates exceeds 30.
For Laboratory Technician and Multi-Tasking Staff, selection will be based on a written examination or skill test followed by an interview. Interview calls will be limited to a maximum of six candidates per post, based on highest marks in the MCQ-based written test. Final merit will be prepared with a weightage of 80% for the written examination and 20% for the interview. |
