IITM Pune Recruitment 2026 Walkin for Technical Assistant, Scientific Administrative Assistant 7 Posts
Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology Pune (IITM Pune) is conducting walk-in interviews for 7 contractual posts of Technical Assistant and Scientific Administrative Assistant. These posts are offered on a purely temporary and contractual basis under a project and may require work at Bhopal, Visakhapatnam, or Pune as per project requirements. Appointment will be for one year or until project period ending on 31-03-2026, whichever is earlier, and may be extended based on satisfactory performance.
Eligible candidates meeting required criteria may attend interview with filled application in prescribed format along with relevant documents.

Selection Mode:
Selection will be finalized through walk-in-interview and verification of documents. Evaluation considers candidate's performance in interview along with academic and professional background. Candidates must report at designated time for on-spot scrutiny. Appointments are purely contractual and do not guarantee permanent position. Final results will be based on merit as assessed by selection committee on scheduled interview dates.

How to Apply :
Candidates are required to attend walk-in selection process in person by following procedural steps listed below. Applicants must report to chosen venue by 09:00 AM on 16-03-2026 or 17-03-2026 for document verification.
- Obtain application proforma from notification and fill all sections manually.
- Report to specified interview venue at least one hour before start of interaction.
- Complete registration and document scrutiny process between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
- Candidates must bring original documents for verification and submit photocopies during the process. The required documents include the SSC certificate as proof of age, degree or diploma certificates along with mark sheets, relevant experience certificates if applicable, category or caste certificate for SC, ST, or OBC candidates if applicable, and any other relevant supporting documents.
- Ensure arrival before 10:00 AM as registration will be closed after this time.
- No hard copy needs to be sent to Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology Pune (IITM Pune) through post in advance.
