Exam date Prelims : 21-12-2025
Mode of Recruitment :
The examination will be conducted in three successive stages, namely: (i) Preliminary Examination, (ii) Main Examination, and (iii) Personality Test. The Preliminary Examination will be of multiple choice type and carry 100 marks. The Main Examination will be of conventional type and carry 200 marks. The Personality Test will carry 20 marks. Detailed information about each stage is given .
Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination will comprise a single paper with multiple choice questions from General Studies and Arithmetic. The duration of the exam will be one hour and thirty minutes. This stage will serve as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination.
Main Examination: The Main Examination will consist of two papers with conventional type questions. Paper I will be on English and Paper II will cover General Studies and Arithmetic. Each paper will carry 100 marks and the duration for each paper will be two hours and thirty minutes. The exam is expected to be held on the same day in Agartala. Candidates must appear in both papers to be eligible for the Personality Test.
Personality Test: Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be shortlisted for the Personality Test. The Personality Test will carry 20 marks.
Fee Structure :
For Group-B (Gazetted) posts:
- General Candidates: Rs. 350
- ST/SC/PH & BPL card holders: Rs. 250
For Group-C (Non-Gazetted) posts:
- General Candidates: Rs. 200
- ST/SC/PH & BPL card holders: Rs. 150
Candidates applying for both Group-B and Group-C posts must pay the recruitment fee applicable to the higher post (Group-B)..
