The examination will consist of three parts:
1. Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will be an MCQ-based test carrying 100 marks. It serves as a screening test solely for selecting candidates for the Main Examination. The marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the final selection.
2. Main Examination
The Main Examination will be a written test carrying 500 marks. To qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks in each examination for Unreserved Category candidates and 30% for Reserved Category candidates. Selection for the next stage will be based on merit from the Main Examination results. Those who qualify will proceed to the Interview-cum-Personality Test.
3. Interview-cum-Personality Test
This stage carries 50 marks. Candidates shortlisted based on their Main Examination results will be eligible to appear for this test.
Preliminary Examination Details:
The Preliminary Examination will consist of a single objective-type paper on "General Studies & Engineering Aptitude," containing 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam will be conducted in English and will have a duration of two hours.
