MPPSC Recruitment 2026 State Service Exam 2026 155 Posts Online Application
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) is inviting online applications for permanent appointments to a total of 155 posts under State Service Examination 2026. Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist of three successive stages: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination (Written), and Interview (Personality Test).
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted as an objective type screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Examination. The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be included in the final merit list. Prelims will be held on 26-04-2026 in 55 mentioned cities. Admit cards for this examination will be available from 16-04-2026. Negative marking will be applicable in Prelims exam.
The examination city will be allotted based on the candidate’s residential address. The following rules will apply:
- Candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh will be allotted an examination centre within Madhya Pradesh.
- For candidates belonging to other states, the examination centre will be allotted as decided by the Commission.
Main Examination
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary Examination based on the prescribed criteria will be eligible to appear in the Main Examination. The Main Examination will be descriptive (written) in nature. Marks of Mains Exam will be considered for preparation of the final merit.
Interview (Personality Test)
Candidates securing the required qualifying marks in the Main Examination will be called for the Interview (Personality Test). The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Interview. Candidates shortlisted for the Interview will be eligible for reimbursement of travel expenses as per rules, subject to submission of the prescribed claim form and verification by the competent authority.
In case of a tie in final merit, preference will be given in the following order:
- Higher marks obtained in the Main Written Examination.
- Higher marks obtained in the Interview.
- Older candidate in age.
Fee Structure :
- Application and examination fee is Rs. 250 for Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD categories. It is Rs 500 for candidates of all categories from outside Madhya Pradesh.
- Fee is to be paid online. An additional mandatory portal fee of Rs. 40 (including tax) is applicable for all candidates.
- Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination will have to pay a separate application and examination fee for the Main Examination.
How to Apply :
- Online application process will be completed only through the MPPSC online system within the prescribed dates (10-01-2026 to 09-02-2026).
- Candidate must first complete the online registration using a valid mobile number and email ID, which will be used for all future communication.
- After registration, candidates will log in and fill the online application form by entering personal details, educational qualifications, category details, and other required information exactly as per official documents.
- Candidates must carefully select the examination city as per the available options during the application process.
- Scanned photograph and signature will be uploaded during the application process as per the specifications mentioned in the notification.
- After filling all details, candidates will pay the applicable application and examination fee through online payment mode.
- Once the fee is successfully paid, the application form must be finally submitted. No changes will be allowed after final submission, except through the correction window.
- Online application correction facility will be available from 15-01-2026 to 11-02-2026, with fee of Rs 50 per session. Correction with late fee will be allowed up to 01-04-2026.
- Candidates are not required to send any printed copy of the application form to Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) at this stage.
- Candidates should keep a printed or saved copy of the submitted application form and payment receipt for future reference.
