- The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by a personal interview.
- The written examination will comprise three papers: Engineering, General English, and General Studies.
- Each Engineering paper will carry a total of 200 marks, which will be divided into two sections:
- Objective-type questions – 100 marks
- Short answer questions (each carrying not more than 5 marks) – 100 marks
- The General English paper will be conventional in nature and will carry 100 marks.
- The General Studies paper will consist of objective-type questions and will also carry 100 marks.
- The personal interview will be conducted for a total of 100 marks.
- The duration of the examination for each paper will be 3 hours.

The selection process will consist of multiple stages, including a written examination and a personal interview. The details of the selection process are as :
- Paper – I: General English – This paper will assess candidates' proficiency in English, including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension. It will be for a total of 100 marks and will have a duration of 3 hours.
- Paper – II: General Knowledge (MCQ) – This multiple-choice question (MCQ)-based paper will test candidates' awareness of current affairs, history, geography, science, and other general knowledge topics. It will be worth 100 marks and will be conducted over 2 hours.
- Paper – III: Technical Subject (MCQ) – The paper will carry 200 marks and will have a duration of 2 hours.
- Paper – IV: Technical Subject (MCQ) – It will be worth 200 marks and will be conducted over 2 hours.
Total Marks for the Written Examination: 600 Marks
After successfully completing the written examination, candidates will proceed to the final stage:
- Personal Interview: The interview will carry 80 marks.
The final selection will be based on candidates' combined performance in the written examination and the personal interview.
