JKPSC Recruitment 2025 Civil Judge (Junior Division) 42 Posts Online Application
Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) invites submissions for 42 permanent posts of Civil Judge (Junior Division), via the online mode. Applications must be sent in by 05-07-2025 after confirming eligibility.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will comprise a Preliminary Objective Type/Screening Test, Main Examination, Viva Voce, and a Physical Fitness Test. The preliminary test will consist of two objective-type papers (Paper A and Paper B), each carrying 225 marks with a duration of two hours per paper. Marks obtained in this stage will be used only for shortlisting candidates for the Main Examination. The number of candidates shortlisted shall be either one-third of total applicants or twenty-five times the number of vacancies, whichever is lower.
The Main Examination will consist of compulsory and optional subjects. Each candidate must appear for all compulsory papers and select three optional papers. Each paper carries 100 marks, and the duration is three hours. Minimum qualifying marks are required to proceed to the next stage. Candidates failing in two or more subjects will not be considered for the Viva Voce or final selection. The detailed syllabus for the Main Exam is provided in Appendix-B.
The Viva Voce carries a maximum of 140 marks and aims to evaluate the candidate’s intelligence, general awareness, aptitude, personality, and suitability for the service.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is waived for candidates belonging to the PHC category. For candidates from reserved categories, the fee is ₹700/-, while for all other candidates, it is ₹1200/-. The fee must be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

The applicant must complete all sections of the online application, according to their certificates, with accurate personal and academic data.
