HPPSC Recruitment 2026 Ayurvedic Medical Officer (Ayush Vibhag) 1 Post Online Application
Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has announced a vacancy for 1 permanent Ayurvedic Medical Officer post in the Ayush Vibhag. This role involves providing specialized Ayurvedic consultations and contributing to public health initiatives across Himachal Pradesh.

Mode of Recruitment :
Selection for this post is conducted through a multi-stage examination process. Stage 1 involves an objective screening test to filter candidates based on general knowledge and language skills. This is followed by a descriptive Subject Aptitude Test (SAT) which focuses specifically on Ayurvedic medical science. The final stage is a personal interview (Personality Test) worth 30 marks held in Shimla. In situations where the number of eligible applicants is very small, the Commission reserves the right to call all candidates directly for the interview. The final preparation of the selection list depends on the performance in the SAT and the interview stages combined.
Fee Structure :
A fee of Rs. 600 is applicable for General category candidates and applicants from outside Himachal Pradesh. HP-based candidates from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS (BPL) categories need to pay a reduced fee of Rs. 150.
Blind, visually impaired, and certain HP ex-servicemen categories are completely exempted from payment.
Fees must be submitted online using digital payment methods such as Net Banking, Credit Card, or UPI.

- Upload clear scanned copies of a recent passport photo and your signature.
- Enclose digital copies of the BAMS degree certificate and all annual mark sheets.

- Attach category-specific certificates like EWS, OBC, or Bonafide Himachali certificates if applicable.
