CGPSC Recruitment 2026 State Services Exam 2025 Online Application
Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for State Services Exam 2025, to be conducted for filling 238 Posts under state govt. Applications must be submitted on or before 30-12-2025, after ensuring compliance with the eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process includes three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Interview.
Preliminary Examination
The Preliminary Examination will be an objective-type screening test consisting of 2 question papers, each of 2 hours duration. Both papers contain 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 200 marks each. Paper 1 focuses on General Studies with negative marking of 1/3 marks for incorrect answers. Paper 2 is an Aptitude Test with the same marking scheme. Minimum qualifying marks are 33% for unreserved category and 23% for reserved categories. Marks from Paper 2 will not be counted in the merit list. Shortlisting for Mains Examination will be based solely on Paper 1 scores.

Main Examination
The Main Examination comprises 7 written papers of conventional type, each of 3 hours duration and 200 marks each. Mains exam structure is as shown :

Interview
Candidates shortlisted in Mains Examination will be called for Interview, carrying 100 marks. Final appointment will be based on aggregate marks from Main Examination and Interview combined. Candidates will be considered for posts in order of their preference and merit.
Fee Structure :
Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -
- Rs. 300 for local residents of Chhattisgarh belonging to SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and persons with disability.
- Rs. 400 for all other categories including non-residents of Chhattisgarh.
How to Apply :
Candidates may apply online for the CGPSC State Service Exam 2025 for a total of 238 vacancies by submitting the application form through the official portal from 01-12-2025 to 30-12-2025, after completing registration and uploading required documents, followed by online payment of the application.
Applicants will be able to correct mistakes in the form from 31-12-2025 to 02-01-2026 and correct fee-payment errors from 03-01-2026 to 05-01-2026. No need to send print copy to CGPSC at this stage.
