Written Competitive Examination:
The written competitive examination will have a total of 400 marks and will consist of two papers, structured as :
Paper-I:
- This paper is divided into two parts, totaling 100 marks.
- Part-I carries 50 marks and covers General Knowledge, General Aptitude, and Elementary General Science.
- Part-II also carries 50 marks and assesses knowledge of Computer Operations and Basic Laboratory Techniques.

The selection process will consists of two stages: Preliminary Examination and Main Examination. Candidates must qualify in the Preliminary Exam to be eligible for the Main Exam. The final merit will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the interview (if applicable).
The Preliminary Examination will includes one objective-type paper comprising 150 questions from General Knowledge, General Science, and Mathematics — 50 questions from each subject. Each question carries one mark. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. The paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
The Main Examination will divided into two papers. Paper 1 is General Hindi, which includes both objective and descriptive questions. Candidates must score min 30% to qualify, although these marks are not counted in the final merit. Paper 2 will consists of 100 multiple-choice questions from General Studies, General Science, and Mathematics. Both papers will be 2 hours and 15 minutes long, and questions are set in Hindi and English.
