Staff Selection Commission Western Region (SSCWR) invites online applications from all eligible and interested candidates for the recruitment to the 75 posts of Laboratory Assistant, Research Assistant and Various on permanent basis.
Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria, may apply online from 25-08-2017 to 24-09-2017. Candidates must go through notification carefully and satisfy themselves of their suitability with regards the essential qualifications for the posts and the age limits before filling online form.
While filling online form, candidates must have scanned copy of latest passport size coloured photograph & signature and personal email ID, Mobile Number. Candidates will be shortlisted for Computer Based Examination based on the percentage of marks in wssential qualifications. Candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:50, i.e. 50 candidates for every vacancy.

Selection Procedure :
There will be Computer Based Mode of Examinations consisting of Objective/Multiple Choice Questions, separately for posts with minimum Educational Qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation levels. Test will have 100 questions (25 from each of General Intelligence, English Language , Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness), to be attempted within 60 Minutes. One question will carry 2 marks and There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Skill Tests like Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Test, etc., where prescribed in the Essential Qualification, will be conducted, which will be of a qualifying nature.
Final Merit List will be drawn on the basis of performance in Computer Based Mode Examination. There will be no Interview as Government has dispensed with Interviews for Junior Level Posts.
Fee Structure :
Fee is Rs. 100, to be paid through “SBI Net-Banking/Credit Cards/Debit Cards of all Banks” or through SBI Challan. Fee should be paid separately for each category of post applied. All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Physically Handicapped and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying application fee.
Procedure to Apply :
Candidates must apply online by 07-06-2017, with all details mentioned carefully. Scanned copies of signature / photograph must be uploaded as required. Before registering the application form, aspirant should make sure he / she possesses required qualifications for concerned post (s).
Separate applications are to submitted for different posts.
