Tentative Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) Sep-Oct, 2024

Mode of Recruitment :

The computer-based examination will be conducted in two tiers: Tier-I and Tier-II. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

Tier-I Examination:

• The examination will consist of a single paper with 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, and will have a duration of 1 hour.

Tier-II Examination:

• Paper-I: This paper will be of 450 marks with a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Paper-II (Statistics): This paper will consist of 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.
• Paper-III (General Studies - Finance and Economics): This paper will have 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.

Candidates will be shortlisted to appear in the Tier-II Examination based on the marks scored in Tier-I.

Fee Structure :

Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

An application fee of Rs. 100/- should be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

How to Apply :

The application deadline for the aforementioned positions is 27-07-2024, and it can only be submitted electronically. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 8326 posts of Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar. After ensuring that they meet the relevant eligibility requirements, interested and qualified candidates may submit an online application by 31-07-2024. Candidates should submit all pertinent personal and academic data. Schedule of Computer Based Examination : Oct-Nov 2024

Mode of Recruitment :

For the post of MTS, the examination will consist of a Computer-Based Examination (CBE). For the post of Havaldar, the examination will consist of a CBE and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST).

The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted in two sessions: Session-I and Session-II, both on the same day, and both sessions will be mandatory. Candidates will have 45 minutes each to complete both sessions. Session-I will have 40 questions totaling 120 marks, and Session-II will comprise 50 questions totaling 150 marks.

Fee Structure :

Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

An application fee of Rs. 100/- should be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.
