Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for the Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL 2024) to fill 17,727 various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India, as well as various Constitutional Bodies, Statutory Bodies, Tribunals, etc. Qualified and interested candidates may submit an online application by 24-07-2024, provided they meet the relevant requirements. Tentative Schedule of Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) Sep-Oct, 2024

Tentative Schedule of Tier-II (Computer Based Examination) December, 2024

Mode of Recruitment :

The computer-based examination will be conducted in two tiers: Tier-I and Tier-II. There will be a negative marking of 0.50 for each wrong answer.

Tier-I Examination:

• The examination will consist of a single paper with 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, and will have a duration of 1 hour.

Tier-II Examination:

• Paper-I: This paper will be of 450 marks with a duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes.
• Paper-II (Statistics): This paper will consist of 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.
• Paper-III (General Studies - Finance and Economics): This paper will have 100 questions, totaling 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours.

Candidates will be shortlisted to appear in the Tier-II Examination based on the marks scored in Tier-I.

Fee Structure :

Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and Ex-servicemen (ESM) categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

An application fee of Rs. 100/- should be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking.

How to Apply :

The application deadline for the aforementioned positions is 24-07-2024, and it can only be submitted electronically. To apply online, candidates should provide accurate information about themselves as documented by official documents. The online application requires a scanned copy of a passport-sized photograph and signature. After submitting their online application, applicants should print out a copy for their records.
