Staff Selection Commission (SSC) inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 39481 posts under Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination-2025. Tentative Schedule of Computer-Based Examination : January - February 2025
Mode of Recruitment :
Recruitment process will consist of Computer-Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination (DME/ RME) and Document Verification. Computer-Based Examination of 60 Minutes will consist of one Objective Type Paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with 20 questions from each of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics & English/ Hindi. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Fee Structure :
Application fee is Rs 100, to be paid Online. It is exempted for Women, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) candidates.

Qualified and interested candidates should submit their applications online by 14-10-2024. All required details must be accurately provided, and candidates should upload their scanned photographs and signatures as part of the online application form. It is advised to retain a copy of the completed application form for future reference. Schedule of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) : October-November, 2024
Mode of Recruitment :
The examination will consist of two papers. Paper I will be objective-type and comprise 200 MCQs worth a total of 200 marks. The duration of Paper I will be 2 hours. Paper II will be descriptive, worth 200 marks, and will have a duration of 2 hours.
Fee Structure :
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Application fees of Rs 100/- is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.
