Mode of Recruitment :
A comprehensive selection process will involve three distinct Computer Based Examinations (CBE), each tailored to different minimum educational qualification levels: Matriculation, Higher Secondary (10+2), and Graduation. These examinations will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The structure of the examination, including the subjects, their respective marks, and the number of questions per subject, is outlined as to provide clarity to all candidates.
Part | Name of the Subject | Number of Questions | Maximum Marks | Total Duration of Examination |
---|---|---|---|---|
A | General Intelligence | 25 | 50 | 60 Minutes |
B | General Awareness | 25 | 50 | |
C | Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) | 25 | 50 | |
D | English Language (Basic Knowledge) | 25 | 50 |
Each examination will assess candidates across four key areas: General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude (focusing on basic arithmetic skills), and English Language (testing basic knowledge). For every incorrect response, a negative marking of 0.50 marks will be applied. In instances where the Computer Based Examination is administered across multiple shifts, a normalization procedure will be employed to ensure fairness in scoring. The normalized scores will be the basis for determining the final merit list and cut-off marks. This examination will be conducted exclusively in Hindi and English.
Furthermore, for positions where specific essential qualifications include skill tests such as typing, data entry, or computer proficiency, these assessments will be conducted separately. These skill tests are generally qualifying in nature, meaning candidates must pass them to be considered, but their scores will not typically contribute to the final merit.
