Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 23 permanent posts of Scientific Assistant. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online on or before 02-06-2025 , after making sure that they meet the concerned eligibility criteria.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will comprise a computer-based test followed by a mains examination. The computer-based test will be of 100 marks and will have a duration of 2 hours.
The mains examination will consist of two separate papers:
- Paper (a): Computer Knowledge Test comprising 50 questions. The duration of this paper will be 1 hour.
- Paper (b): Subject-Related Test comprising 100 questions. The duration of this paper will be 2 hours.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage based on their performance in each part of the examination. Proper time management and thorough preparation are essential to perform well in both stages.
Fee Structure :
The application fee is Rs 50/- for SC and ST candidates belonging to Jharkhand State, while it is Rs 100/- for all other candidates.
The fee should be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. Candidates are advised to ensure successful payment and keep a copy of the transaction details for their records.
