Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will be conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Document Verification.

Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted if more than 40,000 applications are received. The examination will be objective in nature and may be held in one or multiple phases depending on the number of candidates and available examination centers. The Preliminary Examination will be conducted in offline mode (OMR based). Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Examination based on marks obtained in this stage.

A total of candidates equal to five times (5x) the number of available vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

If two or more candidates secure equal marks, merit ranking will be decided based on higher age. If marks and age are both equal, ranking will be decided in alphabetical order (A to Z) of the candidate’s name in English.

Main Examination

The Main Examination will be conducted for candidates shortlisted from the Preliminary Examination. The detailed syllabus, exam pattern, and structure of the Main Examination will be notified separately.

Document Verification

Candidates who qualify the Main Examination will be called for Document Verification. Original documents related to educational qualification, age, category, and eligibility will be verified before final appointment.

Fee Structure :

Application fee of Rs 100 is to be paid online, by candidates of all categories.

  6. Persons with Disability must select the requirement of Scribe (Yes/No) correctly in the application form.
  7. During online application, candidates must capture and upload a clear live photograph through webcam.
  8. Candidates must ensure that all required certificates and mark sheets are available in original form at the time of applying.
  9. No printed application form is required to be sent to Bihar Staff Selection Commission at present.
  10. Candidates may keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
