OSSC Recruitment 2026 Combined Graduate Level Exam 1576 Posts Online Application

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) is inviting online applications for permanent recruitment to a total of 1576 vacancies under Group B and Group C posts through the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination 2025 (CGLRE) . Eligible candidates must complete their online registration by 28-01-2026 and finish online application submission on or before 31-01-2026 (Extended from 21-01-2026 earlier).

The recruitment covers various posts such as Assistant Section Officer, Auditor, Inspector of Supplies, Junior Assistant, Junior Clerk and other equivalent positions across multiple departments of the Government of Odisha, involving administrative, auditing, inspection and clerical duties related to departmental operations and public service delivery.

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

• Online Registration Start Date : 19-12-2025
• Online Registration End Date : 28-01-2026 (Extended)
• Online Application Form Submission End Date : 31-01-2026 (Extended)
• Prelims test will be held tentatively during Feb-Mar 2026. Exact date will be notified later.

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will include Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination, and Certificate Verification.

Stage I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted as a screening test, during Feb- Mar 2026. It will carry a total of 150 marks. Candidates numbering approximately five times the vacancies category-wise will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on marks secured in this stage.

Stage II: Main Written Examination

Mains will be conducted for a total of 200 marks and will consist of two papers. Negative marking of 1/4th of the marks allotted to each question will be applicable for wrong answers.

For the posts of Auditor, Inspector of Supplies, Estate Supervisor, Block Social Security Officer, Junior Assistant and Junior Clerk, candidates will be required to qualify in Mathematics Test and/or Computer Skill Test, wherever applicable.

Stage III: Certificate Verification

Candidates numbering 1.5 times of the vacancies will be shortlisted for Certificate Verification based on marks secured in the Main Written Examination and qualifying tests. There will be no interview.

Merit List

Final merit will be based on the basis of performance in Mains exam, subject to satisfactory doc verification and preferences.

Fee Structure :

• Candidates other than SC, ST and PwD categories will be required to pay the examination fee.
• The examination fee will be Rs 500 and will be deposited through Odisha Treasury portal linked with online application form.
• The examination fee paid will be refunded to candidates who actually appear in the first stage of the recruitment examination. For this purpuse, candidates will need to provide their bank account details in the online application form.

How to Apply :

1. Visit the official OSSC online application portal and complete the online registration between 19-12-2025 and 28-01-2026.
2. Fill in the online application form carefully with correct personal details, educational qualifications and post preferences as per eligibility conditions.
3. Upload the required scanned documents, photograph and signature in the prescribed format during the online application process.
4. Pay the examination fee through online mode via the Odisha Treasury portal, if applicable, before final submission of the application.
5. Submit the completed online application form on or before 31-01-2026.
6. Make corrections, if required, in the submitted application form within the online editing period.
7. There is no requirement to send any printed copy or hard copy of the application to Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) at this stage.
8. Candidates are advised to keep a printed or saved copy of the submitted online application for future reference and use.

Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has invited online applications for permanent recruitment through the Combined Post Graduate Level Recruitment Exam 2025 (CPGLRE) for total 102 teaching posts. The last date for submission of the online application form is 14-02-2026.

The recruitment process will be conducted in accordance with Combined Post Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Specialist Posts/Services Rules, 2022.

The recruitment is being conducted for teaching and academic support roles in different disciplines such as Foundation Course, Science, History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Odia, English, Physical Education, and Art Education. The selected candidates will be responsible for academic instruction, training, and educational development as per the curriculum and institutional requirements.

Vacancies & Eligibility Criteria:

• Online registration starts from 12-01-2026
• Last date for online registration is 11-02-2026.
• Last date to submit the online application form is 14-02-2026.
• Online application form editing window will be available till 17-02-2026.
• Prelims test will be held during March / April 2026 (Exact date to be announced later).

Mode of Recruitment :

The selection process will be conducted in three stages, namely Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination, and Certificate Verification.

Stage I: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Examination will be conducted as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Written Examination. It will be held during March/April 2026 (Exact date to be announced later).

Questions will be from -

• Odia Language Comprehension – 10th Standard
• English Language Comprehension – +2 Standard
• Arithmetic – 10th Standard
• Data Interpretation (Chart, Graph, Table, Data Sufficiency, etc.) – 10th Standard
• Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General Mental Ability
• General Studies including Indian Constitution, Indian Economy, Indian and World Geography, History of India, History of Odisha, and General Issues of Environment or Climate Change – 10th Standard
• Current Events of National and International Importance
• Computer or Internet Awareness

Candidates up to a minimum of six times the number of vacancies (category-wise), will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on the marks secured by them in the Preliminary Examination. Negative marking (1/4th) will be applicable in the Prelims exam.

Stage II: Main Written Examination

The Main Written Examination will be conducted to assess subject-specific and technical knowledge of the candidates. It will comprise of Descriptive Technical paper(s) that will carry 200 marks. The examination will be conducted in Odia and English language, except for language papers where applicable. Marks obtained in the Main Written Examination will be considered for preparation of the merit list.

Stage III: Certificate Verification

Candidates numbering two times the vacancies (post-wise and category-wise), will be shortlisted for Certificate Verification based on the marks secured by them in the Main Written Examination. The verification will be conducted to confirm eligibility with respect to age, educational qualification, category, and other prescribed conditions.

Final selection will be made on the basis of marks secured in the Main Written Examination, subject to successful verification of original documents.

Fee Structure :

Applicable application fee is to be paid online. Fee structure is -

• Unreserved / SEBC category candidates: Rs. 500/-
• SC / ST / PWD candidates: Nil

2. Filling of Online Application Form
   1. Log in using the generated credentials and fill in personal details, educational qualifications, category, and post preferences carefully.
   2. Select the preferred medium of examination language (Odia or English), as the selected option cannot be changed later.
   3. Online application form submission and completion will be allowed up to 14-02-2026.
3. Uploading of Documents & Fee payment
   1. Upload a recent passport size colour photograph scanned in JPG/JPEG format with file size between 20 KB and 100 KB.
   2. Upload full specimen signature and left or right thumb impression scanned in JPG/JPEG format with file size up to 20 KB.
   3. Upload scanned certificates and other required documents in PDF format with file size between 100 KB and 500 KB, wherever applicable.
   4. Pay the applicable application fee online, if required for the category.
4. Final Submission
   1. Review all entered details carefully before final submission (by 14-02-2026). Editing of form can be done upto 17-02-2026.
5. After Submission
   1. No printout of the application form is required to be sent to Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) at this stage.
   2. Candidates may keep a printed copy of the submitted online application form and payment receipt for future reference.
