Naval Ship Repair Yard Recruitment 2025 Apprenticeship 210 Posts Application Form
Naval Ship Repair Yard is looking for eligible candidates to be appointed on 210 posts of Apprenticeship on contract basis. Concerned recruitment drive includes 180 vacancies at Naval Ship Repair Yard Karwar and 30 vacancies at Naval Aircraft Yard Goa. Dates to Consider:
Receipt of application form latest by : 18-11-2025
Mode of Recruitment :
- Candidates’ applications will be shortlisted trade and category-wise to prepare a Preliminary Merit List for the written examination.
- ITI Trades: Merit will be based on the average percentage of marks in ITI and 10th standard. In case of a tie, age and then alphabetical order will be used.
- Non-ITI Trades: Merit will be based on marks in 8th or 10th standard (depending on trade). Tie-breaking rules same as above.
- Written Examination: Conducted for shortlisted candidates in a 1:20 ratio per vacancy. The exam will be held at Karwar in January 2026.
- Exam Pattern: 100 marks (OMR-based) — Mathematics (35), General Science (35), and General Knowledge (30); no negative marking; bilingual in English and Hindi.
- Final Merit & Joining: Final and wait lists (20%) will be prepared based on written exam marks. Selected candidates will be called for document verification and apprenticeship training at either Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar or Naval Aircraft Yard, Goa.

On completion of online registration process, take a print of application form and forward the same to mentioned address, so that it reaches by 17-11-2025. Mandatory enclosures are -
- Self-attested copy of SSC / Matric / 10th Std Mark sheet (For Rigger, 8th Std Mark sheet).
- Self-attested copy of ITI Mark sheet (Semester-wise Mark Sheet and Consolidated).
- Self-attested copy of category certificate (for OBC / SC / ST candidates only).
- Self-attested copy of disability certificate (for PwBDs candidates only).
- Self-attested copy of Aadhar Card.
- Certificate of undertaking stating the choice of establishment for undergoing apprenticeship training i.e. Naval Ship Repair Yard, Karwar or Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa), Dabolim, Goa need to be clearly specified. Proforma of the certificate is as follows:
