Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) is inviting applications for the direct recruitment of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Computer) and Head Constable (Computer) roles within MP Police Headquarters. These are permanent government positions categorized under the third-class executive cadre, with 14 vacancies available for ASI (Computer) and 75 for Head Constable (Computer).
Selected candidates will be responsible for technical computer operations, including IT systems and network management, as part of the specialized police IT wing. Interested applicants must submit their online forms by the last date of 19-02-2026.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages – First Stage (Written Exam & Technical Exam) and Second Stage (Physical Efficiency Test and Technical Practical Exam).
Stage 1
Written Examination
The First Stage Written Examination will be conducted in Hindi language and will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. It will have 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark, to be attempted in 2 hours. There will be no negative marking and no penalty for unanswered questions.

Based on the percentile cut-off, candidates up to seven times the number of advertised vacancies will be shortlisted for the next stage.
Test will be held across cities of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Khandwa, Neemuch, Ratlam, Rewa, Sagar, Satna, Sidhi, Ujjain.
Technical Examination
As the notified posts are under the Technical cadre, a Technical Examination will be conducted in both stages. The First Stage Technical Examination will be of 100 marks with a duration of 2 hours. The level of questions will be of Graduate level for ASI posts and Diploma level for Head Constable posts, from subjects such as Computer, Information Technology, Computer Networking, and Software.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the combined percentile cut-off of the First Stage Written Examination and First Stage Technical Examination will be called for the next stages.
Stage 2
Physical Efficiency Test
The Physical Efficiency Test will be conducted for candidates shortlisted from the First Stage examinations. It will be of qualifying nature and its marks will not be added to the final merit.
PET will consist of a race of 800 metres, which will carry 40 marks. To qualify, candidates will need to score at least 8 marks in it, which requires male candidates to complete the race in under 210.5 seconds and female candidates to complete the race in 290.4 seconds.
Stage 3 – Physical Standards Test
Upon qualifying Stage 2 (PET and Technical Test), candidates will need to appear for the Physical Standards Test.

Required Medical Standards :
The following medical examinations will be conducted by the District Medical Board.
- Hearing ability: Candidates must not have any hearing-related disease and must be able to hear a whisper from a distance of 6/9 meters with one ear and 6/12 meters with the other ear.
- Vision: Candidates must not suffer from night blindness.
- Candidates must not have knock knees, flat feet, or any other physical deformity.
Technical Practical Examination
The Second Stage Technical Practical Examination of 100 marks will be conducted for candidates passing the First Stage. A minimum of 30% marks will be required to qualify this Second Stage Technical Practical Examination. Marks of the Second Stage Technical Practical Examination will be added to the final merit list.
Stage 4 – Document Verification and Final Appointment
The final stage will involve scrutiny of original documents. Candidates will have to produce all educational certificates, domicile proofs, and category certificates as mentioned in the application. Final appointment orders will be issued by the Police Headquarters based on the successful completion of all stages and the availability of clear vacancies.
Also, a waiting list equal to 15% of the advertised vacancies will be prepared and used only if selected candidates do not join or are found ineligible. The waiting list will remain valid only until the final selection list is exhausted.

How to Apply :
To apply for the MP Police IT Recruitment, candidates must follow the below mentioned procedure -
- Create or update the Profile ID on the MP Online portal using valid Aadhaar registration, which is mandatory.
- Log in to the portal and select the application form for the Assistant Sub-Inspector (Computer) and Head Constable (Computer) Selection Test 2026.
- Enter personal and educational details carefully, strictly as mentioned in the original certificates.
- Upload a scanned photograph, signature, and handwritten declaration according to the format and instructions.
- Upload the required supporting documents, including the 10th or 12th marksheet for age verification, caste certificate (if applicable), and Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate.
- Pay the applicable examination fee through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or by visiting an authorized MP Online Kiosk.
- Verify all details and proceed for final submission, upto 19-02-2026.
- After successful submission, note down the Application Number and take a printout of the submitted application form along with the payment receipt for future reference.
- Application correction can be done up to 24-02-2026 on payment of the prescribed correction fee for each correction session.
There is no requirement to send any hard copy of the application form or documents to the Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board. The printed copy should be retained for personal records and subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
Document Specifications- Photograph: The photograph must be taken within three months from the application date. The candidate’s name and the date of photograph (DD-MM-YYYY) should be clearly printed at the bottom. The background must be white, and both ears should be clearly visible.
- Signature: The signature should be written clearly within the designated space provided in the template. Signatures in capital letters or using initials are not acceptable.
- Handwritten Declaration: The declaration text provided in the application form must be written in the candidate’s own handwriting and then scanned for upload.
