Indian Navy Recruitment - 12th (BTech) Cadet Entry Scheme 2026 for 44 Officers Posts
Indian Navy is inviting online applications for permanent commission through 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme Jul 2026, for a total of 44 posts, with the last date to apply being 19-01-2026. Interested candidates are advised to carefully check and ensure that they fully meet all eligibility and compliance requirements before submitting their application.
The recruitment is for Permanent Commission positions under the Executive and Technical branches. Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech training program at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, and will be trained to take up officer-level responsibilities involving technical operations, leadership, and naval systems management.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, including shortlisting based on JEE (Main) performance, SSB interview, medical examination, and preparation of the final merit list.
Shortlisting of Applications
Naval Headquarters will shortlist candidates for the SSB interview based on the JEE (Main) 2025 All India Common Rank List (CRL). Candidates will be required to correctly fill their CRL rank in the application form. The cut-off for shortlisting will be decided by Naval Headquarters.
SSB Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview. The SSB interviews will be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam from March 2026 onwards. Information regarding the SSB interview will be communicated to candidates through email and SMS.
Medical Examination
Candidates recommended by the SSB will be required to undergo a medical examination as per the medical standards applicable to the 10+2 (B.Tech) entry of the Indian Navy. There will be no relaxation in medical standards on any grounds.
Final Merit List
A common merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the SSB interview. Candidates declared medically fit will be considered for appointment subject to police verification, character verification, and availability of vacancies. The course will commence from July 2026.
Fee Structure :
No Application fee is to be paid for this recruitment drive.
How to Apply :
- Visit the official Indian Navy recruitment portal and complete the one-time registration using a valid email ID and mobile number.
- Log in with registered credentials and fill in personal details exactly as mentioned in the Matriculation or 12th class certificate.
- Enter educational qualification details, including 10+2 marks and JEE (Main) 2025 Common Rank List (CRL) rank.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents in original JPG or TIFF format, including date of birth proof, 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, JEE (Main) 2025 score card, and a recent passport-size colour photograph.
- Review all entered details carefully before final submission, as no changes or corrections will be allowed after submission.
- Submit the online application on or before the last date, 19-01-2026.
- After submission, keep a copy of the filled application form safely for future reference.
- There is no requirement to send a printed copy of the application form to the Indian Navy at this stage.
- Applicants must carry a printed copy of the application form along with original documents while appearing for the SSB interview, if shortlisted for.
