Mode of Recruitment :
The selection of Assistant Commandants will depend on candidates' performance in the various stages of the examination (Stages I through V).
Stage-I (CGCAT) : The test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each carrying four marks for a correct answer and a deduction of one mark for each incorrect answer. The test will have a duration of two hours.
Stage-II {Preliminary Selection Board (PSB)} : Candidates will undergo screening through the Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and the Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT). The CCBT will be conducted in English only and will consist of objective-type questions.
Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB) : The FSB is conducted at the Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB) located in Noida and lasts for five days. During this time, candidates undergo a Psychological Test, Group Task, and an Interview (Personality Test).

Fee Structure :
All candidates (except SC/ST candidates) are required to pay a fee of Rs.250/- through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/Master/Maestro/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI.
How to Apply :
Candidates interested in the aforementioned positions can apply online by 24-09-2023. Based on their certificates, candidates should carefully fill out all of the online application forms, such as their name, father name, education, residence, and so on.
