Mode of Recruitment :
The recruitment process will be conducted in multiple stages to assess candidates thoroughly. The selection procedure will include a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), Documentation, Trade Test, a Written Examination conducted in either OMR-based or Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, followed by a Medical Examination.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET will assess the physical endurance of candidates through a race, with different criteria set for male and female candidates:
- Male candidates: 1.6 kilometers race to be completed within 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Female candidates: 800 meters race to be completed within 4 minutes.
Written Examination: The written test will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. The CBT will have a total of 100 questions, carrying a total of 100 marks, and will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. The examination will assess candidates on various topics, including:
- General Awareness / General Knowledge
- Elementary Mathematics
- Analytical Aptitude
- Ability to observe and distinguish patterns
- Basic knowledge of Hindi/English
The question paper will be set in both English and Hindi languages to accommodate all candidates. Notably, there will be no negative marking in the examination.
Fee Structure :
Female candidates /Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
