Notably, in another notice dated 16-01-2026, the last date was extended to 22-02-2026. However, the last date has now been revised again and preponed to 08-02-2026.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will be conducted in mentioned stages - Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination, Physical Standard Test, Written Test, and Oral/Viva-Voce.Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
PET will be conducted for all applicants and will include race and long jump, while chin up will be evaluated only for male applicants of Constable (AB). Marks will be awarded as per performance.

Medical Examination
The Medical Examination will be conducted to assess eyesight, physical deformities, and general health standards.
Physical Standard Test (PST)
The PST will include verification of height and chest measurements as per category-wise standards and will carry no marks.
Written Test
After PET & PST, Written Test will be conducted, which wil contain 100 MCQs of class IX–X level carrying 50 marks with no negative marking, covering Arithmetic, General English, Logical Reasoning, Assam’s History/Geography/Polity/Economy, and General Awareness.
Oral/Viva-Voce
The Oral/Viva-Voce will carry 5 marks and will be attended by applicants shortlisted based on earlier stages.

How to Apply :
Applicants can apply online by following the step-by-step process given below.
- Register on the application portal using a valid mobile number and enter personal details exactly as per the HSLC certificate.
- Provide mandatory details during registration including Employment Exchange Registration Number, highest qualification, permanent district, gender, category, date of birth and Aadhaar number.
- After successful registration, an Application ID will be generated which must be saved for future use.
- Log in using the Application ID or registered mobile number along with date of birth.
- Select the relevant advertisement and choose post preferences.
- Fill in personal, educational and other required details carefully as no changes will be allowed after final submission.
- Upload a recent passport size photograph in JPG/JPEG/PNG format with maximum file size of 450 KB.
- Upload a scanned signature done in black or dark blue ink on white paper in JPG/JPEG/PNG format with maximum file size of 100 KB.
- Upload required documents including proof of age, educational qualification certificates and mark sheets, Employment Exchange Registration Card and Aadhaar Card.
- Verify all entered details and submit the online application.
- Generate OTP and download the acknowledgement slip after successful submission.
- No printout of the application is required to be sent to State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam at this stage.
- Applicants may keep a printed or digital copy of the submitted application and acknowledgement slip for future reference.
