Andhra Pradesh Police (AP Police) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for 42 permanent posts of Assistant Public Prosecutor (in AP State Prosecution Department). Online submissions must be completed by 07-09-2025 after verifying eligibility.

Mode of Recruitment :
The selection process will consist of a written examination to be held in two papers, each of three hours duration. Both papers will be conducted in English language only. The examination is scheduled for 05 October 2025 (Sunday), with Paper I to be held from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM and Paper II from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM on the same day. The subjects and marks distribution for each paper are as :

Based on written test, candidates will be called for interview of 25 marks.
Fee Structure :
Candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh belonging to the OC and BC categories are required to pay a fee of Rs. 600 for processing the application, written examination, and related activities. Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh belonging to SC and ST categories need to pay only Rs. 300. All other candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 600 for the application process.
