2. Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) formed a 4 member ____________________ (ABBF), to look into bank fraud cases of over 50 crore rupees. It will be headed by former Vigilance Commissioner T M Bhasin. ABBF was previously called as Advisory Board on Bank, Commercial and Financial Frauds.
- ABBF would function as first level of examination of all large fraud cases before recommending investigative agencies by PSBs.

- Panel including six-time world champion boxer M. C. Mary Kom and former football captain Bhaichung Bhutia.
- National sports awards will be given away on National Sports Day, August 29, the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand. According to the Sports Ministry, it is a new idea of one selection committee for all the awards.
4. Government constituted a Group of Ministers (GoM) to look into issues concerning UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. 2 UTs will come into existence on _________________. - The High Level Committee on CSR was constituted in October 2018 under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Corporate Affairs) to review existing CSR framework and make recommendations on strengthening the CSR ecosystem.

8. Panel headed by CBDT member Akhilesh Ranjan submitted report to Finance Ministry, to replace Income Tax Act with a new Direct Tax Code(DTC).
- Idea to replace Income Tax (IT) Act ________________ was given by PM Narendra Modi in September 2017, stating that Income-Tax Act __________, had been drafted more than 50 years ago and needed a change.
