West Bengal State University (WBSU) is inviting applications for admission into Ph.D Course under the Department of Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Chemistry. Candidates who qualify in NET/ SET/ GATE are only eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master's Degree in the relevant disciplines from a recognized University/ Institute.Important Dates:

Admission Procedure:
Admission to the Ph.D Course is completely based on their performance in the CSIR/ NET/ SET Examination. Candidates who qualify the NET/ SET/ GATE examination are exempted from writing an entrance test.Application Fee :
General category candidates must pay an application fee of about Rs. 1000/-, Rs. 500/- for reserved category candidates. Fee must be payable in the form of Cash or Demand Draft at the University counter.How to Apply :
Candidates should apply to the Course in the prescribed application format. Fill all the particulars in the application form at appropriate places. Attest a recent passport size photograph on it, submit the application form on or before due date.Related :
