WB JEPBN 2025 Post Basic Nursing Admission Online Application

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Joint Entrance Examination for Post Basic Nursing (JEPBN) every year for admission into the Post Basic Nursing course in various Colleges and Institutes in the State of West Bengal. The JEPBN-2025 is conducted to select eligible candidates for the academic session 2025-26. The Board ensures a fair and transparent admission process using state-of-the-art technology and e-Counselling procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must fulfill the given eligibility criteria to apply for JEPBN-2025:

• Applicant must be a citizen of India and a domicile of West Bengal.
• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have passed the (10+2) level examination from a recognized board and the GNM course from an Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. The candidate must hold a valid registration/RNRM certificate from any State Nursing Council in India.
• Work Experience: At least three years of uninterrupted government service experience is required for candidates presently employed by the West Bengal State Government. Work experience is not mandatory for others.

Admission Procedure:

The selection will be based on a Common Entrance Test (JEPBN-2025) conducted by WBJEEB. The exam is of OMR-based multiple-choice type consisting of 100 questions to be answered in 90 minutes. The paper is divided into two parts:

• Part A: Anatomy, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pathology (40 questions).
• Part B: Foundation of Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Obstetrical Nursing, Community Health Nursing (60 questions).

The scoring is based on +1 mark for correct answers and -0.25 marks for wrong answers. The final merit list is prepared based on the General Merit Rank (GMR).

Application Fee :

• Application Fee: Rs. 3000 (Rupees Three Thousand only).
• Payment Method: Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or QR Code.
• The fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.

How to Apply :

By the due date, online applications may be submitted through provided online facility. Before beginning the application, carefully read the instructions. In the appropriate section of the online application, applicants should enter all of their personal and educational information. The online application should be printed out for future reference. At the indicated places, complete the online application form with all necessary information. By the due date for application submission (20-09-2025) or earlier, upload all required documents, including passport-size photos and certificates.
