West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) conducts the Joint Entrance Examination for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Undergraduate Courses (JENPAS UG) to facilitate admission into various Bachelor-level programs offered by Government and Private Institutions in West Bengal. The JENPAS (UG)-2025 is organized for the academic session 2025-26. It ensures a fair, transparent, and error-free selection process using advanced technology and e-Counselling methods for seat allotment.

Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for JENPAS (UG)-2025, candidates must fulfill the mentioned eligibility conditions:

• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.
• Domicile: Must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Passed or appearing in 2025 in Class 12 in the (10+2) system from a recognized Board/Council in India.
  • Minimum age of 17 years as on December 31, 2025.
• Gender:
  • Only female candidates are eligible for B.Sc. Nursing courses in government colleges.
  • For private colleges offering B.Sc. Nursing, some are open for males, but many are exclusively for female candidates.
  • All other undergraduate courses permit both male and female candidates.
• Academic Requirements:
  • Candidates must pass Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with minimum percentages in aggregate as specified by course type and category (General, SC, ST, OBC, EWS).
  • Medical fitness is mandatory and must be documented by a certificate during admission.

Admission Procedure:

The admission process is based on a Common Entrance Test (JENPAS UG-2025), conducted in OMR format. The test includes two separate papers:

• Paper I: For all courses other than Bachelor in Hospital Administration (BHA).
• Paper II: Exclusively for BHA course candidates.

Each paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) in both English and Bengali (except Basic English, Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge). The questions will follow these structures:

• Paper I Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic English, Logical Reasoning.
• Paper II Subjects: Physical Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Basic English, Logical Reasoning.

The scoring method includes positive marks for correct answers, negative marks for incorrect answers, and zero marks for unattempted questions.

Application Fee :

• For only Paper I or only Paper II:
  • General Category: Rs. 500
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS Category: Rs. 400
• For both Paper I and Paper II:
  • General Category: Rs. 800
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS Category: Rs. 650
• Payment Mode: Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or QR Code.
• All fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

How to Apply :

Fill all of the information on the application form in the designated places. Attest to a recent passport-size photograph on the application form. Check all the details and submit the form on or before the last date for submission of the application form.
