The Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University (UPRTOU) has announced the opening of applications for admission to its Ph.D. program in Philosophy, which will be conducted through an entrance test. The Ph.D. program at UPRTOU will have a minimum duration of three years, which includes the mandatory coursework, and a maximum duration of six years, providing flexibility for the completion of the degree.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have completed First year/2 semester Master's degree programme after a 4–year/8 semester bachelor's degree programme or a 2 year/4 semester Master's Degree programme after a 3-year bachelor's degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master's degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with min 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade .Important Dates:

The selection of applicants will be based on their performance in the Ph.D. entrance test. The entrance test will consist of an objective-type question paper with a duration of one and a half hours (90 minutes). The Pre-Ph.D. Entrance Test will contain 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), designed to assess the candidates' knowledge and aptitude relevant to the Ph.D. program.Application Fee :
