TANUVAS Admission 2021 PG Degree/ Diploma Course Online Application
Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) invites applications for admission to the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Course for the academic year 2020-21. Candidates have to submit the application form through online mode.
Post Graduate Degree:
MVSc degree
MTech degree
MSc in BioTechnology
Diploma Course:
Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosis
Postgraduate Diploma in Companion Animal Practice
Eligibility Criteria:
For Post Graduate Degree:Candidates should have completed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field from any recognized University.
For Diploma Course:
Candidates possessing a BVSc/BVSc & AH degree of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto shall be eligible to apply with a minimum OGPA of 2.75/4.00 in trimester system or 6.50/10.00 in semester system or 50% in the conventional system shall be eligible to apply. A minimum pass is sufficient for SC/ ST candidates.

The selection will be based on the Common Entrance Examination.The questions for the Common Entrance Examination of MVSc/MTech will be based on undergraduate level comprising 200 objective type questions with four responses. Each question will carry a 0.5 marks and the maximum marks will be 100. The examination will be of three hours duration.

Candidates should pay through online.For GEN/OBC: Rs.1200/-
For SC & ST: Rs. 600/-

Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) has invited applications for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma Course (Distance Education-Online Mode) for the academic year 2020-2021. Eligible students can apply through online. The duration of the course is 01 year.
Eligibility Criteria:

The selection will be based on the:Marks in Bachelor Degree: 10 marks
Professional Experience/Service: 10 marks
Medals/Awards/Appreciations: 05 marks
Marks in Entrance Examination: 50 marks
Online Entrance Examination will be held for a maximum of 50 marks with a duration of 1 hour. The examination consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (related to the PG Diploma course) with each question carrying 1 mark).

The selection will be based on merit. The merit list of candidates for each course will be released based on the total marks obtained from Bachelor Degree, Professional Experience/Service, Medals/Awards and Entrance Examination.After scrutiny of the application by the screening committee, the eligible candidates will be informed to attend the entrance examination. The entrance examination will be held for a duration of 2 hours for 50 marks. The examination consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (related to the PG Diploma course) with each question carrying 1 mark)
