Sambalpur University invites applications for admission to the Ph.D. Program for the year 2024 across various faculties. A total of 151 seats are available for the program. Interested candidates can submit their applications online from 28-11-2024 to 26-12-2024. Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university or institute, with an aggregate of min 55% marks. Meeting this eligibility criterion is mandatory for applying to the Ph.D. program.

Selection for admission to the Ph.D. program involves a Research Eligibility Test followed by a viva voce test. Candidates who have qualified in national-level examinations such as UGC/CSIR NET, GATE, INSPIRE, or similar exams conducted by UGC, ICAR, ICMR, CSIR, ICSSR, or other recognized national bodies are exempted from the Research Eligibility Test. Additionally, candidates eligible for fellowships from national or state-level organizations or institutions are also exempted from appearing in the Research Eligibility Test.
Application Fee :
An application fee of Rs. 2000/- is to be paid online through SBI Collect. Candidates are advised to complete the payment process to finalize their application.

Fill in all the required information in the designated fields on the application form. Ensure that you attach a recent passport-size photograph in the space provided on the form. After reviewing all the details, submit the form on or before the last date for submission of the application form.
