RIE Bhubaneswar Admission 2025 DPSE Course Online Application
Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar, Odisha invites applications for admission to the Diploma Programme in Science Education at the Secondary Level for the academic session 2025–26. The programme is aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), focusing on upgrading science teaching strategies and equipping science educators with contemporary skills and knowledge.
The course is specially designed for in-service science teachers, aspiring science educators, teaching professionals, and science teacher educators from the Eastern region, covering A&N Islands, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal. The medium of instruction is English, and the programme follows a blended mode (distance and contact). The duration of the course is from June 2025 to March 2026.
Eligibility Criteria:
Science graduate with at least 55% aggregate marks. The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics at the 10+2 level.A total of 50 seats are available.

Admission will be based on screening and selection through an online test. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to appear for the test, which will include multiple-choice questions covering Physical Science, Biological Science, Education at Secondary Level, and Teaching Aptitude. In-service candidates must obtain prior permission from their employer if deputation orders are pending. The final decision regarding admission rests with RIE Bhubaneswar, NCERT.
