RGCB Admission 2021 PhD (Disease Biology and Plant Science) Course Online Application
Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has released an admission notification for Ph.D. program (January 2021 session) in various domains of Disease Biology and Plant Science. Eligible students can apply through online.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have completed a Post-Graduate degree in Life/Agricultural/Environmental/ Veterinary/Pharmaceutical/Medical Sciences or allied subjects (Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Biophysics/Chemistry/Microbiology, etc.) with a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade point are eligible to apply. Candidates who are appearing for their final qualifying degree exam or awaiting the qualifying degree result are also eligible to apply.The upper age limit is 28 years as on 01-03-2021. The age limit will be relaxed for SC/ST/Physically challenged candidates as per Government of India regulations.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application Forms: 10-03-2021Date of publication of the list of shortlisted candidates: 17-03-2021
Date of online interview: 22-03-2021 and 23-03-2021
Publication of the list of selected candidates: 24-03-2021
Date of remittance of fees: On or before 30-03-2021
Date of Hostel Check-in: 06-04-2021 and 07-04-2021
Date of joining the Ph.D. program: 08-04-2021
Date of commencement of Ph.D. Course Work: 12-04-2021
Admission Procedure:
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the academic performance and performance in the national level tests. Ph.D. interviews may be held online. Guidelines for interviews will be provided to candidates shortlisted for the interview.Application Fee :
Application fees Rs. 500/- must be paid online using 'SB Collect' of State Bank of India through the URL given in the Payment Stage. SC/ST/EWS candidates are exempted from paying the processing fees.How to Apply :
Eligible candidates should fill application only through online mode. Personal and education details should fill in the online application at the appropriate place. Print of duly filled online application should be retained for future use.Related :
