National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), given a directive from the Supreme Court, has rescheduled the NEET PG 2025 examination to 03-08-2025, to be conducted on a single‐shift, computer‐based format from 9 am to 12:30 pm . Originally slated for 15 June 2025, the exam was deferred to allow sufficient time for the establishment of additional test centres and technological infrastructure, ensuring equity and transparency nationwide.
Candidates who applied within the original timeline (mid-April to early May) should anticipate the release of city-intimation slips in late July, followed by admit cards around July 2025. The examination will feature 200 multiple-choice questions administered in English, with a duration of three and a half hours, and follows a standard marking scheme of +4 for correct answers and –1 for incorrect responses.
