NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 Admission UG/PG/PhD Courses Online Application
National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened online applications for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination (NIFTEE) 2026, which facilitates admissions to UG, PG, Lateral Entry, Artisans, and Ph.D. programmes across NIFT campuses in the country. Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements and submit the online application along with the prescribed documents as per the official guidelines.Eligibility Criteria:

Admission Procedure:
The selection process for NIFTEE 2026 will include Written Tests (GAT and/or CAT), Situation Test (where applicable), Personal Interview (for PG programmes), and RPPI for Ph.D.
Written Tests (GAT / CAT)
The Written Tests will be conducted as per programme requirements. GAT will assess communication ability, quantitative ability, analytical and logical ability, and general knowledge. CAT will assess creative ability where applicable.

Situation Test
The Situation Test will be conducted for B.Des applicants who are shortlisted based on their written examination performance. It will evaluate hands-on material handling and creative problem-solving ability.
Personal Interview (PI)
The Personal Interview will be conducted for M.Des, M.F.M, and M.F.Tech applicants who are shortlisted based on their entrance examinations. It will assess the aptitude, clarity of goals, and programme suitability.
Research Proposal Presentation and Interview (RPPI)
Ph.D applicants who qualify the written test will appear for the Research Proposal Presentation and Interview. It will evaluate research aptitude, subject understanding, and suitability for doctoral studies.
Application Fee :
- Open / Open-EWS / OBC-NCL (for B.Des., B.F.Tech., MFM, M.Des., M.F.Tech., Ph.D.): ₹ 2000
- SC / ST / PwD (for B.Des., B.F.Tech., MFM, M.Des., M.F.Tech., Ph.D.): ₹ 500
- Open / Open-EWS / OBC-NCL applying for two programmes (B.F.Tech. + B.Des. or MFM + M.Des.): ₹ 3000
- SC / ST / PwD applying for two programmes (B.F.Tech. + B.Des. or MFM + M.Des.): ₹ 750
- NRI / Foreign National / OCI / PIO / SAARC (UG / PG Programmes): ₹ 11100
- Service charges of Bank / Payment Gateway will be borne by the candidate.
How to Apply :
Applications for NIFTEE 2026 can be submitted online from 08-12-2025 to 06-01-2026, and candidates may also apply with a late fee from 07-01-2026 to 10-01-2026 for the concerned programmes. Applicants must enter accurate personal and academic details, upload all required documents in the prescribed format, and submit the applicable fee to complete the form.
