NIT Surathkal Admisison 2025 MTech/MBA/MSc Programmes Online Application
The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal, invites applications for its full-time self-financed postgraduate programmes (MTech, MBA, MSc) for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible candidates are required to apply online and ensure that hard copies of all necessary documents are submitted before the specified deadlines.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet the given minimum eligibility criteria to apply for the respective postgraduate programmes:
- MTech: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech) or an equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
- MBA: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates). Preference may be given to candidates with valid CAT, MAT, CMAT, or GATE scores.
- MSc: A Bachelor’s degree in Science (BSc) or an equivalent qualification in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

Admission Procedure:
Admissions are determined through a two-stage evaluation process consisting of a written aptitude test and a technical interview. The selection criteria are as :
- Written Aptitude Test: 50% weightage
- Technical Interview: 50% weightage, which includes:
- Subject Knowledge Assessment: 25%
- Technical Presentation: 25%
The final selection is based on the combined performance in both the aptitude test and the technical interview.
Application Fee :
The application fee details are as given:
- General/OBC candidates: ₹500
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: ₹150
All candidates should complete the payment online on or before 30-05-2025.
How to Apply :
Candidates must complete the application process through online mode. All required details should be accurately filled in the online application form. After submission, candidates are required to send the these by post:
- Printed copy of the completed application form
- Payment receipt
- Self-attested copies of relevant documents
