NIT Nagaland Admission 2025 PhD Course Application Form
National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NIT Nagaland) has announced an invitation for applications to its Ph.D. programme, available in both full-time and part-time modes. The programme covers a wide range of disciplines, including Civil Engineering (CE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Sciences and Humanities (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry). Additionally, applications are also invited for the integrated Ph.D. programme for the academic year 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through offline mode.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates applying for the Ph.D. programme must have successfully completed a Master’s degree (ME, MTech, or MSc) in the relevant field from a recognized university. A minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade is required to be eligible for admission.

The selection process will include the these stages:
- Written Examination
- Interview
Preference will be given to candidates possessing a valid GATE or NET score. Additional details regarding the Written Examination will be announced at a later date.
Application Fee :
The application fee is exempted for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PH categories. For all other candidates, the application fee is Rs. 500/-. The fee must be paid online using the given bank details:
