National Institute of Technology Goa (NIT Goa), invites applications for admission to its full-time M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2025-2026. The admission will be through the Extra Spot Round (GATE) for eligible candidates who have not yet secured a seat through CCMT 2025. NIT Goa offers M.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), VLSI, and Power Electronics and Power Systems (PEPS) under various departments.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates seeking admission must have qualified GATE and should not have been admitted through CCMT 2025. Those who did not report or withdrew their admission are still eligible to participate. It is mandatory for such candidates to cancel their prior admission before reporting at NIT Goa during the Extra Spot Round.
Eligible candidates include those who possess a valid GATE score from 2023, 2024, or 2025. Seat allotment will be based strictly on merit and seat availability.

Admission to the M.Tech programmes will be carried out through the Extra Spot Round based on valid GATE scores. Selection will be merit-based, considering the GATE performance and seat availability in the respective departments. Candidates must report in person at the institute on the day of the Extra Spot Round to be considered for admission.
Application Fee :
All eligible candidates must pay an admission fee of ₹3,000. This fee is non-refundable and applicable to GEN/EWS/OBC categories. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the fee is ₹1,500.How to Apply :
