Admission to the 5 year Integrated M.Sc course is completely based on their performance in the combined competitive examination. The question paper will consist of 4 (four) sections of objective (MCQ) type questions. Each section is of 50 marks and will contain subject specific questions from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Each subject section contains 17 questions, out of which 12 questions are of single correct answer MCQs, and the remaining 5 questions are of multiple correct answer MCQs. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is an annual college entrance examination in India, conducted for admission into National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar (NISER) and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. These institutes use NEST as a sole criterion for admission to their undergraduate programs.
