NCHM JEE 2026 BSc Hospitality Course Admission - Complete Details
National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications for NCHM JEE 2026 examination. NCHM JEE is a national-level entrance test conducted for candidates seeking admission to hospitality and hotel administration programmes. Through this examination, admission is offered to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) programme at institutes affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and recognized by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) is a three-year course divided into six semesters. The programme is designed to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge, and professional attitude required to effectively handle supervisory responsibilities in the hospitality and hotel administration sector.

Entrance Examination (NCHM JEE 2026):
- The admission process begins with appearing in NCHM JEE 2026, a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination assesses candidates on Numerical Ability, Reasoning, English Language, and Aptitude for the Service Sector. Based on performance, NTA prepares the final result using Final Answer Keys and issues score cards to candidates.

Result and Score Handover:
- After the declaration of results, NTA forwards the NCHM JEE 2026 scores to the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). These scores are compulsory for participation in the centralized counselling process.

Centralized Counselling and Seat Allotment:
- Registration for Counselling: Candidates must register on the official NCHMCT counselling portal using their NCHM JEE score details.
- Choice Filling: Candidates are required to select their preferred Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs) from the available list of central, state, and private institutes.
- Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on the candidate’s NCHM JEE rank, category, and seat availability in the selected institutes.
- Document Verification: Seat allotment remains provisional and is subject to verification of original documents such as 10+2 mark sheets, category certificates (if applicable), and physical fitness certificates at the institute level.

Final Admission:
- After successful seat allotment and document verification, candidates must pay the prescribed admission fee to confirm their seat. Failure to submit original documents or fulfil eligibility conditions, including passing English in 10+2, by the deadline of 30-09-2026 will result in cancellation of the provisional admission.
Application Fee :
- General (UR) / OBC (NCL) as per Central List – Rs. 1,000/-
- General – EWS – Rs. 700/-
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / PwD – Rs. 450/-
- Third Gender – Rs. 450/-
- Applicable service/processing charges and GST over and above the examination fee are to be paid separately by the candidate.
How to Apply :
Step 1: Online Registration- Visit the official NTA website and register using a valid Email ID and Mobile Number.
- Note down the system-generated Application Number carefully for future reference.
- Enter basic personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, and Contact Information correctly.
- Complete the detailed application form including educational qualifications and selection of four preferred exam cities.
- Upload Photograph: Recent passport-size photograph (10kb to 200kb) with at least 80% face visibility against a white background.
- Upload Signature: Clear scanned signature in JPG format with file size between 10kb and 100kb.
- Upload Other Documents: PwD or Category certificates (if applicable) in PDF format with file size between 10kb and 300kb.
- Pay the examination fee online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Wallet.
- Application fee details:
- General / OBC (NCL): ₹1,000
- General – EWS: ₹700
- SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: ₹450
- The application form will be considered incomplete until the fee payment is successfully completed.
- After successful payment, download and print the Confirmation Page of the application form.
- Keep the printout safely for future reference; no hard copy needs to be sent to NTA.
