NBER Admission 2025 Certificate/ Diploma Courses Online Application
The National Board of Examination in Rehabilitation (NBER), an adjunct body of the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), invites online applications for admission to various Certificate and Diploma level courses in Special Education and Disability Rehabilitation. These courses are offered by RCI-approved institutions and university departments across the country. Admission will be granted purely on a merit basis.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Special Education Courses (D.Ed.Spl.Ed.): Candidates must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in any stream.
- Disability Rehabilitation Courses (e.g., D.H.L.S., D.P.O., D.R.T., D.H.A.E.M.T., D.C.E.&A.T.(VI), D.V.R.(ID), D.C.B.R.): Applicants should have passed 10+2 with PCM or PCB or its equivalent from a recognized Central/State Board of Education with at least 50% marks.
- Sign Language (DTISL Course): Only for deaf candidates. The minimum qualification is 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% marks. Applicants must have a certificate of disability (Deaf) and demonstrate proficiency in receptive and productive skills in Indian Sign Language (ISL).
- Candidates awaiting 10+2 results may also apply. They must meet the minimum 50% marks requirement at the time of admission. Relaxation in marks is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the policy of the concerned Central/State Government or UTs.
- Children and siblings of persons with disabilities will receive 5% weightage in the merit list during admission.

Admission Procedure:
Admissions to the Certificate and Diploma level courses will be conducted online through a merit-based counselling process. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in their qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent).
Application Fee :
The examination fee is Rs. 500 for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the fee is Rs. 350.

Candidates that meet the requirements can fill the online application. Complete all sections of the application form and submit a recent passport-size photo, signature and any other necessary documents as indicated.
