MIDS Admission 2025 PhD Course Online Application
Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS) has invited applications for admission to the Ph.D. course. Interested candidates can submit their applications online on or before 10-04-2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have completed post-graduation with a minimum of 55% marks in Economics or Development Studies. Additionally, they should have qualified for the National Eligibility Test (NET).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview. Candidates who have secured UGC-Junior Research Fellowships for Ph.D. will be exempted from the written test and will be directly called for the interview. The final selection will be strictly based on the quality of the research proposal, along with the candidate’s performance in the written test and interview.
