MIDS Admission 2024 PhD Course Online Application
Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS) is currently accepting online applications for its Ph.D. program for the academic year 2024. Prospective candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to submit their applications online before 20-04-2024. Applicants should ensure that they provide all required personal and academic details when filling out the form. Furthermore, it is recommended that candidates have an active personal email ID and mobile number available for the registration process.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants who hold a Post-Graduation degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade point average), with a relaxation to 50% for SC/ST candidates, in Economics, History, or Development Studies are eligible to apply.Important Dates:

Candidates shortlisted will undergo a written test and an interview. Those with UGC-Junior Research Fellowships for PhD will skip the written test and be directly invited for the interview. The final selection from the shortlisted candidates will be solely based on the quality of the research proposal and the assessment of the candidate's performance in both the written test and interview.Application Fee :
