KVASU Admission 2025 MVSc/MTech/PhD Course Online Application
Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) invites online applications for admission to postgraduate and doctoral programmes for the academic year 2025. The programmes available include Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc), Master of Technology (MTech), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Admission is based on merit and considers candidate qualification and performance as prescribed by the university. The online application must be submitted by 20-12-2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
Eligibility requirements differ by programme:
- MVSc: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or equivalent qualification recognised by KVASU. Minimum academic performance as per university regulations is required.
- MTech: Relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent from a recognised institution. Specific requirements depend on the specialisation.
- PhD: Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with minimum academic standards. For life sciences, a Master’s in any life science subject is required. Relaxations are applicable for reserved categories.

Admission Procedure:
Admission is based on merit. Merit evaluation considers qualifications and performance in the university’s selection process. For some programmes, especially PhD, an entrance test followed by interview or counselling is conducted. Final merit ranking is based on performance in these evaluations.
