Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have issued a notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2025 (JEE Advanced). Applications for the mentioned examination can be submitted online from 23-04-2024 to 02-05-2025.
Through JEE (Advanced), the IITs provide admission into various undergraduate programs, including:
- Bachelor’s degree courses
- Integrated Master’s degree courses
- Bachelor-Master Dual Degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, or Architecture
For candidates enrolled in the dual degree programs, both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees will be awarded upon successful completion of the course requirements.
Indian nationals aspiring to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2025 must first qualify by writing the JEE (Main) 2025 examination, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to B.E./B.Tech. programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, a candidate must have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2024 or 2025, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.
Additionally, candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 2000, to meet the age criteria for the examination.

Examination comprises two papers, namely Paper 1 and Paper 2, each with a duration of three hours (180 minutes). It is mandatory for all candidates to appear in both papers to be considered for evaluation.
The JEE (Advanced) 2025 examination has been structured to assess candidates’ knowledge and problem-solving abilities comprehensively across the two sessions.
Application Fee :
Application fees is Rs 1600/- for Female Candidates (all categories), SC, ST, and PwD Candidates, OPEN (GEN-PwD) and Rs 3200/- for other Indian Candidates. Fees should be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.How to Apply :
Candidates are required to complete the application form by providing all the necessary details in the designated fields. It is important to ensure that all information entered is accurate and up-to-date.
As part of the online application process, candidates must upload the these documents:
- A scanned copy of a recent passport-size photograph
- A scanned copy of the candidate’s signature
- Scanned copies of relevant qualification documents
Once all the required details and documents have been uploaded, candidates should carefully review the information for accuracy before submitting the application. The submission must be completed on or before the specified deadline to avoid any disqualification.
