Jharkhand BSC Nursing Exam 2025 BSc Nursing Course Online Application

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has invited online applications for the B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Examination 2025. This exam is conducted annually to facilitate admissions into B.Sc. Nursing (Basic and Post Basic) programmes offered by government and private institutions in the state of Jharkhand. Eligible female and male candidates interested in pursuing a career in nursing may apply through the prescribed online process.

Eligibility Criteria:

For B.Sc. Nursing (Basic): Applicants must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core subjects, securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST candidates). Candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on 31st December 2025.

For B.Sc. Nursing (Post Basic): Applicants must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent and must be a registered nurse (RNRM) having completed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. A minimum of two years of professional experience is often required.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to the B.Sc. Nursing course will be granted on the basis of merit determined by the entrance examination. The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions from relevant subjects. Candidates securing qualifying marks will be considered for counselling and seat allocation based on their rank and preferences.

Application Fee :

• For SC/ST/Female Candidates: Rs. 450/-
• For Other Candidates: Rs. 900/-

Fees should be paid online using debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.

How to Apply :

By the due date, online applications may be submitted through provided online facility. Before beginning the application, carefully read the instructions. In the appropriate section of the online application, applicants should enter all of their personal and educational information. The online application should be printed out for future reference. At the indicated places, complete the online application form with all necessary information. By the due date for application submission (11-07-2025) or earlier, upload all required documents, including passport-size photos and certificates.
