INST Mohali Admission 2025 PhD Programme (August Session) Application Form
Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali invites applications from interested candidates for admission to its Ph.D. Programme for the academic year 2025-26. Admissions are open in the these research units:
- Energy and Environment Unit
- Quantum Materials and Devices Unit
- Chemical Biology Unit
Applications for the mentioned programme must be submitted in given format only.
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates should have completed M.Sc., M.Pharm., or M.Tech. in Basic or Applied Sciences, Engineering, or related areas. Students who are appearing for their final year or final semester examinations are also eligible to apply.
Additionally, applicants must have qualified in at least one national-level examination such as CSIR/UGC-NET, ICMR-JRF, DBT-JRF, or any equivalent project-funded fellowship.

Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their academic qualifications and scores in national-level examinations such as CSIR/UGC-NET, ICMR-JRF, or DBT-JRF. The final selection for admission to the Ph.D. program will be made based on the marks obtained in the interview.
Application Fee :
An application fee of Rs. 590/- is applicable for general candidates, while SC, ST, and PH candidates are required to pay Rs. 295/-. The fee must be paid online to the mentioned account :

How to Apply :
A hard copy of the application form, with a recent passport-size photograph affixed, must be submitted along with self-attested copies of the relevant certificates. These should include proof of age, educational qualifications, experience (if any), and reservation category.
