IIT Patna Admission 2025 PhD (Autumn Semester) Course Online Application
The Indian Institute of Technology Patna invites applications for admission to its full-time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme under the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and Information Technology, Phase II, for the Autumn Semester of Academic Year 2025-26. This programme aims to promote advanced research in cutting-edge areas of technology. Selected candidates will receive financial support, including fellowship, research contingency grant, and reimbursement of rent as per scheme norms.
Eligibility Criteria:
- M. Tech. or M.E. degree in Engineering or Technology with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 percent marks.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in a relevant branch with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70 percent marks.
- Master's degree in Science in a relevant area with a minimum CPI of 7.5 or 70 percent marks.
- Candidates must have qualified GATE (within last five years) or hold a valid NET qualification.

Admission Procedure:
Admission will be based on a written test followed by an interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE/NET scores, academic performance, and other eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test and interview. Simply meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection.

The application fee must be paid online through SBI Collect. It is non-refundable.
How to Apply :
Fill all of the information in the online application form at the designated locations. Upload all the necessary certificates, testimonials, and passport-size photographs on or before the last date (i.e. 21-09-2024) for submission of the application form.Related :
