Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) is inviting applications for admission to M.Tech, M.Sc, and M.A. programs for the July 2025 session. Interested candidates can submit their applications through the online mode.
The last date to apply for the mentioned courses is 25-04-2025. Applicants are advised to complete the registration process within the stipulated timeline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
Eligibility Criteria:
For M.Tech programme: Candidates must possess BE/ B.Tech in the respective disciplines from a recognized University/ Institute or Master's degree in Chemistry/ Life Sciences/ Mathematics/ Physics related subjects. Candidates who are pursuing final year of academics are also eligible to applyFor M.A Programme: Candidates must possess Bachelor's Degree in the concerned disciplines from a recognized University/ Institute

Admission to the M.A. and M.Tech. programs will be based on academic merit, followed by the candidate's GATE score. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and secure the required merit will be shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified about the further selection procedure through official communication. They are advised to regularly check their registered email and the institute's website for updates regarding the admission process.
Application Fee :
Application fees of Rs 600/- (Rs 300/- for reserved category) is to be paid online using debit card, credit card or net banking.How to Apply :
Applications for the mentioned courses should be submitted online on or before the due dates. Candidates should fill all of their personal and educational information into the appropriate sections of the online application in accordance with their certifications.
