IIT Kanpur Admission 2025 PhD/ MTech Courses Online Application
Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) has issued a notification inviting applications for admission to Ph.D. and M.Tech programmes for the academic year 2025–26. Interested candidates may submit their applications through the online mode.
The last date to complete and submit the online application form is 16-04-2025. Applicants are advised to review the eligibility criteria and admission guidelines carefully before applying.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Ph.D. Programme: Applicants must have completed a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution.
For M.Tech Programme: Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university or institution.
Important Dates:
- Last date for submission of online application: 16-04-2025 (up to 2:00 PM)
- Interview dates for Ph.D. programme (On-campus): May 09–13, 2025
- Interview dates for M.Tech programme (Online): To be announced soon
Admission Procedure:
Admission to the mentioned courses will be conducted through an interview process. Applicants will be shortlisted for the interview based on an initial screening of the received applications, which will take into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
The final selection of candidates for admission will be determined solely on the basis of their performance in the interview.
