NTA ICAR 2025 Agricultural PG/JRF/PHD Entrance Exams Online Application

National Testing Agency (NTA) invites online applications for the ICAR Entrance Examinations 2025 – AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D). These examinations are conducted to facilitate admissions into Postgraduate (PG) and Doctoral (Ph.D) programs in Agricultural and Allied Sciences, under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), for the academic session 2025-26.

Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official application facility within the stipulated timeline. Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and examination guidelines before applying.

Eligibility Criteria:

For AIEEA (PG) – Postgraduate Programs

• Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree of 3 or 4 years duration in Agriculture or Allied Sciences from a recognized university.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 60%

For AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D) – Doctoral Programs

• Candidates must possess a Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 60% marks

Last Date for Online Application Submission : 05-06-2025 (up to 5:00 PM)
Last Date for Fee Payment : 05-06-2025 (up to 11:50 PM)
Correction date : June 07-09, 2025
Date of Examination : 03-07-2025

Admission Procedure:

Selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the entrance examination, followed by document verification and counseling for shortlisted candidates.

The written test will be of 120 minutes duration and will comprise a total of 120 multiple-choice questions. Candidates are advised to prepare thoroughly as the final selection will depend on their test score and fulfillment of eligibility conditions during the verification stage.

Application Fee :

The application fee should be paid online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.

For AIEEA (PG)

• SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹625
• OBC (NCL)/UPS/EWS: ₹1100
• All other candidates: ₹1200

For AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D)

• SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender: ₹975
• OBC (NCL)/UPS/EWS: ₹1800
• All other candidates: ₹1900

How to Apply :

Applications for the mentioned courses should be submitted online on or before the due dates. Candidates should fill all of their personal and educational information into the appropriate sections of the online application in accordance with their certifications. Applicants are required to upload a scanned photo of themselves along with their signature and qualification certificates.
