HPCET Exam 2023 Admission BTech/BPharm/MCA/MBA Course Online Application

Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) has announced the admission process for technical and professional courses through Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) for the academic year 2023. Candidates have to submit the application form through online mode.

Eligibility Criteria:

B.Tech (Direct Entry): Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship with 45% marks.
B. Pharmacy (Direct Entry): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/ Biology subject securing at least 45% marks (40% reserved category).
MBA/MBA (T & HM): Candidates should have completed bachelor‟s degree from recognized University with minimum three years duration securing at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) at the qualifying examination.
MCA: Candidates should have completed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science)/ B.Sc. (IT) / B.E. (CSE)/ B.Tech. (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Date of entrance examination: 14-05-2023

Admission Procedure:

The selection will be based on the Entrance examination (HPCET-2022). All questions shall be objective type multiple choice questions. Two marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

Application Fee :

For B.Tech & B.Pharmacy Courses: General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 1600/-, Rs. 800/- for reserved category candidates. In order to apply for both courses, General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 3200/-, Rs. 1600/- for reserved category candidates.
For MCA, MBA Courses: General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 1600/-, Rs. 800/- for reserved category candidates. In order to apply for both courses, General category candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 3200/-, Rs. 1600/- for reserved category candidates.

How to Apply :

Desirous and eligible candidates may fill the application form complete in all respects, and pay the requisite amount of application fee. Check all the details and upload a recent passport size photograph. Submit the application form on or before the due date.
