DERT Meghalaya Admission 2025 DElEd Programme Online Application
Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Meghalaya, Shillong invites online applications from pre-service candidates who are bonafide citizens of India and permanent residents of Meghalaya for admission into the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Programme for the academic session 2025–2027. The programme is intended for individuals aspiring to become qualified teachers at the elementary level.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have passed Class XII or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Applicants must be between 18 and 27 years of age as on 1st January 2025.

Last date for filling form : 06-06-2025 (11:59 PM)
Date of Entrance Test: Tentatively scheduled in July 2025 (to be notified later)
Admission Procedure:
Admission will be based on merit determined through an entrance test followed by counselling. Selection will be conducted in accordance with the Reservation Policy of the Government of Meghalaya. Seats will be allocated block-wise to ensure availability of trained teachers at the local level.

Payment can be made online or via e-challan generated from the portal, payable at any SBI branch.
