CMI Admission 2021 UG/PG Courses Application Form

Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI) has invited applications for admission to the UG/PG Courses for the academic session 2020-21. Eligible students can apply through online.

Courses Offered:

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Computer Science (3 year course).

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and Physics (3 year course).

M.Sc. in Computer Science.

M.Sc. in Data Science.

Ph.D. in Mathematics.

Ph.D. in Computer Science.

Ph.D. in Physics.

Eligibility Criteria:

For UG Courses:

Candidates should have completed Higher Secondary examinations or its equivalent from any State/Centre Examination board.

For PG Courses:

Candidates should have completed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field from any recognized University.

For Ph.D. Courses:

Candidates should have completed a Master's Degree in the relevant field from any recognized University.

Last Date for Submission of Online Application Form: 31-05-2021

Admission Procedure:

For all programmes other than Ph.D. Physics, applicants will have to take an entrance examination. For Ph.D. Physics, candidates should write the Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST). There is no separate CMI entrance examination for Ph.D. Physics.

Application Fee :

Candidates do not have to pay any application fees.

How to Apply :

Eligible and interested candidates are required to fill applications only through the provided online facility on or before the due date. All related particulars must be maintained carefully. A copy of the filled-in application form must be kept for future use.
